General Construction & Home Remodeling in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

We're roofers first — but we're builders at heart. Black Diamond Roofing handles general construction across North Idaho: remodels, renovations, additions, and full custom homes, start to finish.

One contractor. One call. Everything handled. That's the whole idea.

What We Build

• Kitchen & bathroom remodels — from refresh to full gut-and-rebuild
• Home additions — extra bedroom, expanded living space, garage additions
• Full home renovations — we buy, flip, and renovate houses ourselves, so we know what we're doing
• New home builds — we build new houses from the ground up, start to finish
• Exterior work — siding, decks, and everything that ties into your roof
• Interior & exterior painting — full house painting, inside and out

The One-Stop-Shop Advantage

Here's what makes us different from a regular GC: we do the roof, the excavation, and the construction ourselves. Most contractors are juggling five subcontractors you've never met. When you hire us: one crew you know and trust start to finish, no finger-pointing between trades, one fair price instead of five marked-up bids stacked together, and permits pulled with inspections handled.

Flips & Investment Properties

We don't just build for homeowners — we're real estate investors ourselves. We flip houses across North Idaho, so we understand budgets, timelines, and what actually adds value vs. what just costs money. If you're renovating an investment property, talk to someone who does it with their own money too.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a remodel cost?

Honest answer: it depends entirely on scope. What we can promise is a straight, itemized number before we start — and the best price in town for the quality you're getting. Free estimates.

Do you handle permits?

Yes. We pull permits for any work that requires them, and we handle inspections. That's part of doing it right.

Can you really do the roof AND the remodel?

Yes — that's the point. Roof, gutters, remodel, addition, excavation — one contractor, one call. It saves you money and headaches.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes — Black Diamond Roofing, owned by Shaun Beveridge, Idaho contractor registration #2361770, licensed & insured.

Do you take on small projects?

There's no job too small or too big for us to take on. Bathroom refresh or full custom home — same honest approach.
